dc.description.abstract |
The proposed thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the total synthesis of (±)-allocolchicine and its analogues using cobalt catalyzed alkyne [2 + 2 + 2]-cyclotrimerization along with their biological activity study. The second chapter describes studies toward the total synthesis of resveratrol dimers parvifolal A/B. The third chapter is focused on the ruthenium(II)-catalyzed carbonyl directed arylation of 2-
aroylbenzofurans by using arylboronic acids and (hetero)aryltrifluoroborates via C–H bond activation. |
